It depends. If you are planning to distribute your original audiovisual content and you can apply SoundCode embedding before content distribution then we recommend SoundCode. Watermarking solution provides more capacity and simple management, and gives you full control over synchronization process. Using watermarks you can deliver unambiguous synchronization for similarly sounding content, and you can provide different synchronization experiences depending, for example, on content delivery method (on-line, terrestrial, satellite, etc.). On the other hand, if you do not fully control content distribution or you want to synchronize with third-party content then audio fingerprinting solution is your only option.
